TVB Anniversary Series The Ultimate Crime Fighter <通天幹探> will begin airing on 08 October 2007 and a promotional climbing challenge was held today.
Cast members including Yuen Biao (元彪), Moses Chan (陳豪), Yoyo Mung (蒙嘉慧), Vivien Yeo (楊秀惠), Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎) and Natalie Tong (唐詩詠) arrived at the top of the Youth Outreach centre to complete their high altitude climbing challenge.
The cast members present were split into pairs to climb onto a large steel ladder frame, which was then suspended into the air. Although Yuen Biao is a skilled martial artist, he was still very careful because this was the first time he had tried this activity. His partner Natalie was so frightened that she hugged him hard when she got back onto the building.
When Ben Wong (黃智賢) helped his partner Yoyo onto the frame, he lifted her up by pushing on her bottom. When it was Moses and Vivien's turn, he refused to help after just lending her a shoulder to lever herself up and left to struggle on her own, they were the slowest couple to complete the task.
Afterwards, Moses was asked why he did not offer Vivien any help, he smiled and explained: "I did look out for her and let her step on me. I am a very conservative person though, so I uphold the value of keeping my distance from woemen." Asked why he would hold rumoured girlfriend Bernice Liu (廖碧兒), he explained that they were dancing. When he was told that even the producer thought he was lacking chivalry, he said that he was actually too chivalrous.
Vivien is very scared of heights, but wanted to join in because it seemed like it was good fun. Asked about the lack of help from Moses, she said that he did ask if she needed help beforehand, but he seemed to forget about it. She then pulled a pitiful face and joked: "My mother was right, women have to depend on ourselves and not on men."
