warning: spoilers ahead..!
Week 1
(episode 1-5)
loved the scenes of the little kids... so cute & heartwarming... i totally cried a bit... hahaha... and i must say these kids are actually more talented than some TVB artistes... i'm such a hater... heee..!
after watching the scene of young Li Yi and young Sam Ho meeting for the first time i thought, damn it would be perfect if they get together... and then after watching that scene when Li Yi left the palace i thought, ah fudgerino it sucks that they're not gonna be together...
but i guess the good that comes out of it is people will give Li Yi extra points just 'cause he's so nice & caring to Sam Ho and can "have" her anytime he wants, but doesn't just 'cause he loves & respects her and he knows the person she loves is Hin Yeung... a little tear for Li Yi...
the whole dumb acting by moses himself can be improved... it gets creepy sometimes i think 'cause he's such a big guy... it was ok for roger 'cause roger is so short... oh wells, that can't be helped... we do like moses because he's all big & tall, right..? haha...
back to Li Yi acting dumb i just find it so cute & funny sometimes... scenes that i remember very well are (1) when he was waiting to greet Tai Wong Tai Hou he was playing with his turtle, Tong Lin Zi, and Sam Ho shows up and sees him give the turtle a tong lin zi and she says it and Li Yi immediately runs up to her and asks, "How did you know he's called Tong Lin Zi... When did you guys meet?" (2) when the eunuch tried to trick him to kill the japanese chess player and Li Yi asked if there's really such thing as a bird that flashes and (3) when he attacked the eunuch who tried to kill Sam Ho and later asked Sam Ho, "I know how to sneak attack, am i smart?"
hahaha... there's probably a lot more little things that crack me up... i love it when he puffs his cheeks... totally cute when he does it...
i also like how he does the whole dumb then serious thing... a lot of people say he's very "ying" when he does it... gotta agree... the first time he ever did it i was starring at my laptop grinning like a psycho... good thing there wasn't anyone around... haha... you know that feeling when you're starring at your computer screen with a silly smile on your face and someone asks what you're smiling about... that was one of those moments... we need more of these scenes..!
and now all we have left to talk about is Li Yi's thing with Kam Ling... loved the scene of how they first met..! it wasn't romantic, but cute... i wonder what the not dumb Li Yi thinks of her... i guess we gotta watch on to find out... but from the preview Li Yi's mom probably likes Kam Ling 'cause she reminds her of herself when she was a maid... and maybe she thinks Kam Ling truly loves Li Yi... well, i hope so too and that it ain't all for the power... haha... Li Yi deserves to find true love too...
so what do i look forward to in the coming episodes... well, i want Li Yi to become emperor already so we can see that big scene of him and Tai Wong Tai Hou battling it out... moses said it's a must watch and Sudden Weekly also said it was so i can't wait..!
